The fifth
International Advanced Summer School on Modern Mathematical Physics
will be organized by Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics
(JINR, Dubna) on July 22 - 30, 2007 in the framework of the Program
DIAS-TH.

There is a preliminary agreement
with the leading experts concerning
introductory and advanced lecture courses covering the following topics of modern cosmology: observational
status and mathematical models of cosmology, present status and models
for dark matter and dark energy, extra dimensions, stringy cosmology,
black holes, gravitational waves.

The lectures
will be supplemented by evening discussion sessions. It is also planned to organize
several review lectures on recent developments in the field.
Short reports of the students will be encouraged as well.
The total
number of the School participants is expected to be 80. Undergraduate, postgraduate
students and young postdocs are supposed to be participants of the
school. The recommendation of an Advisory/Organizing Committee Member or Supervisor
is required.The deadline for application is May 25, 2007. The arrival day is July 22, 2007. The departure day is July 30, 2007. The registration fee is 350 Euro. It covers car transportation from Moscow airport to Dubna and back, hotel accommodation (breakfast included), coffee breaks and social events. For a limited number of participants the Organizing Committee has applied for financial support from Russian and international organizations. For participants from Germany, there is a special Helmholtz Gemeinschaft grant that covers the travel expenses to Dubna and back and local expenses in Dubna. In any case the applicants should clearly state to Organizers their need for the support before May 25. They will be informed about the Organizing Committee's decision in a due course. The participants who receive the support from other sources (not from the Organizing Committee) should pay the fee in cash during the registration. We strongly recommend those needing Russian visa to send us the necessary information (see the Registration Form and Visa Information) before May 25. On receipt of this personal data we shall arrange a visa support letter for each participant and send it to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. After that we shall send to those needing a visa the Original Visa Invitation with which the participants should apply to the Russian consulate in their country for obtaining the visa.
