OVERVIEW

The XV International Conference on Symmetry Methods in Physics (SYMPHYS-XV) as a two part conference organized by the Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research and International Center for Advanced Studies at Yerevan State University will be held in Dubna, Russia, (July 12-16, 2011) and Yerevan, Armenia (July 25-29, 2011).

The SYMPHYS-XV Conference is dedicated to the memory of Professor Alexei Norairovich Sissakian. Professor A.N.Sissakian (1944-2010) is a famous theoretical physicist who made a large and important contribution to the elementary particle physics, high energy physics, and to investigation of various aspects of symmetries in Physics. His whole life devoted to the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, where he coming the way from the junior researcher to Director of Institute (2006-2010).

The purpose of the Conference is to bring together scientists who knew Professor Alexei Norairovich Sissakian personally and work with him, or who were influenced by his work.

The preliminary programme includes the traditionally for SYMPHYS series of conference topics.
