The Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research organizes the Helmholtz International Summer School “Dense Matter In Heavy Ion Collisions and Astrophysics” (DM2008). The school will be held at Dubna, Moscow Region, Russia, on July 14 – 26, 2008.
The International Summer School will be devoted to problems of theoretical description of nonperturbative quantum field theory and many-body physics of strong interactions, as well as their applications to heavy ion collisions and astrophysics. The following topics will be included:
- Hadrons in the Medium
- Equation of State and Phase Transition
- Hadron Production in Heavy-Ion Collisions
- Dense Matter in Compact Stellar Objects
- Future Experimental Facilities
The participation in the school is by invitation only!
