The XIIIth Winter School "Physics of Heavy Ions: from LHC to NICA" organized by the Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics, JINR, in the framework of the program DIAS-TH will be held in Dubna, Russia, from January 30 to February 4, 2017.
The preliminary program of the school includes the following topics:
- Equation of state and QCD phase transitions
- Transport properties in dense QCD matter
- Lattice QCD at finite densities and magnetic fields
- Strange particles in heavy ion collisions (HIC)
- Experiments and observational programs at LHC and NICA
- Anomalous transport
The working language is russian.
The total number of participants is expected to be about 50. PhD or master students and young postdocs are invited to apply for participation.
The deadline for submitting applications is January 10, 2017. The participation is by invitation only. The lectures start on Monday, January 30, 2017. The day of departure is Saturday, February 4, 2017.
