XII Winter school on theoretical physics is an annual event organized in Dubna by the Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics, JINR, in the framework of the program DIAS-TH. The present school is dedicated to the theory of few-body physics and its applications.
The topics of the school are :
- Scattering theory for few-body systems
- Faddeev-Yakubovsky equations
- Resonances in few-body systems
- Critical stability of few-body systems
- Universal laws of ultra-cold collisions and Efimov effect
- Threshold fenomena in few-body systems
- Nuclear reactions is stars
- Neutron star physics
- Gravitational lensing
The school will be held in the Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics on February 3-8, 2014. The arrival day is Febryary 2, 2014. The departure day is February 9, 2014 . The total number of participants is expected to be about 60.
Undergraduate, postgraduate students and young postdocs are encouraged to apply for participation. The deadline for submitting applications is January 10, 2014 .
The school's working language is Russian. The participation is by invitation only.
