Laboratory of Theoretical Physics, JINR, in collaboration
with Theoretical physics chair
of Dubna Unversity
organizes in Dubna from 31 January to 7
February, 2010, the VIII-th Winter School on Theoretical Physics
in the framework of the program DIAS-TH.
The present school is dedicated to the theoretical end
experimental study of few-body systems in nuclear physics, and selected problems of nuclear
astrophysics and cosmology.
The
programme
of
the School is intended for the last year undergraduate
students, PhD students and young researchers. Five lectures are
scheduled per day. Review talks on the recent developments in
the area are planned along with the lecture courses. The
students will be given an opportunity to make short
reports about their research at the seminars.
The school's working language is
Russian. The participation is by invitation only.
