The VIII-th International
Advanced Summer School on Modern Mathematical Physics will be organized by
Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics (JINR, Dubna) on September 5- 15,
2010 in the framework of the program DIAS-TH.
This time the programme of the school will touch upon the following topics

We anticipate some outstanding scientists
to give lectures during the school. The prelimnary list of speakers includes I.Ya.

The lectures will be supplemented by
evening discussion sessions. It is also planned to organize several review
lectures on recent developments in the field. Short reports of the students will
be encouraged as well.
The total number of the School participants is
expected to be 80. Undergraduate, post- graduate students and young
postdocs are supposed to be participants of the School. The
recommendation of an Advisory/Organizing Committee Member or
Supervisor is required.

The
deadline
for application is July 10, 2010
The arrival day is
September 5, 2010. The departure day is September 15, 2010.
For a limited number of participants the
Organizing Committee has applied for financial support from Russian
and international organizations. In any case the applicants should
clearly state to Organizers their need for the
support before July 10. They
will be informed about the Organizing Committee's decision in a due
course. We
strongly recommend those needing a
Russian visa to send us the necessary information (see the
registration form) before July 10.
On receipt of this personal data we shall arrange a visa support
letter for each participant and send it to the Russian Ministry of
Foreign Affairs. After that we shall inform those needing the visa
of the requested VISA NUMBER and DATE
to be referred while applying to the Russian consulate in
participant's country for obtaining the visa.
