The International School-Seminar "Structure of Particles and Nuclei and their Interactions" will be held from October 6 to October 13, 1997 in Charvak, mountain resorte place, a 70 km from Tashkent, in sanatorium Humsan.

The ISS'97 is sponsored in part by National Bank of Uzbekistan and by Foundation for Support of Entrepreneurs and Industrialists of Uzbekistan.

D. Format of publication

The Proceedings of the School-Seminar will be published. Participants may contribute their papers only after the ISS'97 will held. The contributions will be acceptable in the form of TeX or LaTeX files. You should bring your TeX-files to organizers on diskettes during the school or send until November 30, 1997 by e-mail. Please, use the article style. Format of the contributions should be

Number of pages: 8 pages for 1 hour lecture and 4 pages for 20 min. seminar.

E. Transportation

All participants should inform Local Organizing Committee until September 25, 1997 (by e-mail or fax) about their arrival and departure times and flight numbers to arrange the transportation from and to the Tashkent airport. At Oct.5 around 15.00 a bus from Tashkent to sanatorium Humsan and at Oct.13 around 15.00 from sanatorium Humsan to Tashkent will be organized.

F. Fee

The fee 400 USD should be paid upon arrival and during the registration in cash. The fee will cover the housing, meals, the excursion to Samarkand, the transportation from and to airport, the one copy of Proceedings.

G. Accomodation

The accomodation during ISS97 will be arranged in the Sanatorium Humsan in the mountain resorte place Charvak, 70 km from Tashkent starting from evening Oct.5 till evening Oct.13. As a rule, participants will share double rooms.

For the persons, who arrive before Oct.5 and would like to stay in Tashkent after ISS97 we may arrange the reservation of the guesthouse of the Nuclear Physics Institute (25 km. far from centre of the city, 19 USD/night(breakfest included)), or the hotel "Tashkent" (in the centre of the city, 37 USD/night)

H. Climate in Tashkent

In the first half of October the weather is rather warm during the day and relatively cold during the evenings and night. Day time temperature is about +15-20 C.
