THE LOGARITHMIC CONFORMAL
FIELD THEORIES
AND STATISTICAL MECHANICS |

The workshop will be devoted to diverse aspects of the logarithmic conformal field
theories and related integrable models of statistical mechanics. The following topics
will be considered:
- conformal invariance and criticality
- recent investigations in the logarithmic CFT
- new results in statistical mechanics related to LCFT
- sandpile models
An expected number of participants is 20-25. The workshop will be organized as
a series of lectures of sufficiently large duration. Time for
free informal discussions will also be reserved.
The Seminar will start on Monday morning, June 4,
through Friday, June 8.
Those who are interested in participation are kindly asked to
fill in the Registration Form.
The Seminar will be held at the Bogolubov Laboratory of
Theoretical Physics, Joint Institute for Nuclear Research,
Dubna, a small town 120 km north of Moscow on the bank of the
Volga river. To reach Dubna you have to come to Moscow by
plane or by train. All participants will be met at the
Sheremetyevo Airport or the Railway Station and transported to
Dubna by institute's cars.
The conference fee includes hotel accommodation and
transportation and will be 200 EUR. A number of reduced
fees will be available for those who cannot obtain funding from
their own institutions.
