BIOGRAPHY OF S. V. TYABLIKOV
|
Professor S. V. TYABLIKOV studied physics at the Moscow State University. He started as the Diploma student of Professor A. A. VLASOV, but after some time moved to Professor N. N. BOGOLIUBOV. Since then he was his closest pupil and collaborator.
In 1959 Professor S. V. TYABLIKOV published short paper together with Professor N. N. BOGOLIUBOV entitled: "Retarded and Advanced Green's Functions in Statistical Physics", Dokl. Acad. Nauk SSSR, 126 (1) (1959) pp.53-56 (Sov. Phys.-Doklady 4 (1959) 589 ). This paper influenced strongly the development of the many-body physics and in particular the QUANTUM THEORY OF MAGNETISM.
Professor S. V. TYABLIKOV published two monographs:Professor S. V. TYABLIKOV worked all his life at Steklov Mathematical Institute, Moscow .
He was invited by N. N. BOGOLIUBOV as the first Head of the Statistical Mechanics and Theory of Condensed Matter Group
at the Laboratory of Theoretical
Physics ( now Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics),
Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Dubna.
Professor S. V. TYABLIKOV worked at JINR during 1966 - 1968. He stimulated strongly the development of various researches in the fields of quantum theory of magnetism, statistical mechanics, theory of superconductivity, quantum theory of solid state, etc.
The BIBLIOGRAPHY of S. V. TYABLIKOV is impressive.
Additional
information can be found in a few
books and journals ( Uspekhi. Fiz. Nauk, Physics of Metals and Metalography) as obituary notes.
