Dear Colleague,
The Workshop will be carried out in JINR (Dubna) (July 3 - July 6) and follows the International Conference "Blois-99" in Protvino (July 27 - July 2). Protvino is situated 70 km on South from Moscow and Dubna - in 132 km on North from Moscow. The Workshop will be dedicated to the selected problems of QCD model of high energy diffractive physics, including spin effects, as well as more phenomenological approaches and their justification.
The number of participants is expected to be about 25. We would like discuss in detail the most actual subjects of theoretical base of diffractive physics including:
The Workshop will be located in the Laboratory of Theoretical Physics of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Dubna, Moscow Region, Russia.
The Workshop working language will be English . We suppose that the time of talk will be by wish of reporter, of course, in reasonable limits.
The registration fee will be US $120 for participants and US $100 for accompanying persons. The registration fee includes: the transportation from the Protvino or the Moscow airport to Dubna and back to Moscow airport, hotel accommodation, coffee breaks, social events. The fee will be collected in Dubna.
Dubna is a quiet and pleasing town lying 132 km north of Moscow on the picturesque banks of the Volga river. Its surroundings offer peaceful rural scenery which, though having no famous monuments, keeps memories of the past. A 1 - 2 hours' trip brings you to Moscow, to Sergiev Posad (Zagorsk), the Russian Orthodox center with its 500-year-old Trinity Monastery.
Participants and accompanying persons will be transported from/to the Moscow airport Sheremetievo. During the Workshop the participants will be accommodated at the local Dubna hotel. Single and double rooms will be available.
No local transport is needed.
In July temperature usually fluctuates from C at night up to C in the daytime and the rain is likely possible.
The participants of Blois Symposimum have to point in your viza request documentation the visit in JINR (Dubna). For non-participants of Blois conference coming directly to Dubna we kindly ask to send visa information to the address below. You must present all necessary information for visa request for you and accompanying persons. The requirements are the following: full name, birthdate, citizenship, passport number and issue/expire dates, position, fax number, telephon number, itinerary inside Russia, town of aplying for visa, name of the accompanying person under 18.
